sorry, it is nights (n i g h t s) not knights (k n i g h t s) the song is about nights spend in bed with sheets of white satin (= meaning making love that felt as pleasant as the feel of satin on the skin) not about knights wearing white satin (that would be too girlish as it is LOL)... Star
